The Christian Legal Centre (CLC) is a UK-based legal advocacy organisation established in 2007 that provides legal representation for individuals and organisations pursuing cases involving religious freedom and conservative Christian positions on social issues. As the legal arm of Christian Concern, the CLC has been involved in numerous high-profile cases involving abortion, LGBT+ rights, and freedom of speech, including cases connected to the gender-critical movement.[^1]
The CLC was identified in Amnesty International UK’s July 2026 report “A Growing Threat” as part of the ultra-conservative Christian professionals network working against human rights in the UK.[^2]
